Looking beyond the horizon, how do you want to be remembered?

As a supporter of the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy, you help us ensure that the character and natural beauty of the region remains for people to enjoy generations from now. You can continue to protect Western Pennsylvania’s exceptional places through your estate without impacting your current standard of living.

Choosing to name WPC in your will is as simple as adding a codicil to your existing document.

You choose the bequest gift that works best for you. You may designate a percentage or a residual of your estate, a specific dollar amount, assets or personal property to be used as a gift to WPC. Your generosity will leave a lasting legacy in support of the organization's future efforts.

What if I already have a will?

You need only to call your attorney and advise him or her of your interest in making a bequest to the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy. In most cases, a bequest may be stated through the creation of a codicil to your existing will.

What if I don't have a will?

If you didn't write and sign a will, state law will do it for you. The law of intestacy can distribute your assets as the state sees fit – potentially in ways that you would never have anticipated or desired.
