WPC Protects Ligonier Farmland and Loyalhanna Creek Watershed

WPC has permanently protected a 179-acre farm in Ligonier Township, Westmoreland County that has conservation value, plus historic and cultural significance. This property will be owned privately and protected permanently as farmland or forest.

New Property Listings

Through the Conservation Buyer Program, WPC links conservation-minded land buyers with sellers. Funds from sales of these lands will be used to further our conservation mission. Current property listings may be viewed on the WPC website.

WPC Photo Contest

The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy is hosting a photography contest. Contestants are encouraged to take photos of WPC-conserved property as well as Community Gardens. Winning entries will be featured in the e-newsletter, and may be used for an issue of Conserve magazine!
