Mill Run, Pa. – November 18, 2009 – Fallingwater, the Frank Lloyd Wright masterwork located in Mill Run, Pa., will be open for the first time on Fridays throughout December. The house will be open as usual for tours on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the month. In addition, it will be open December 26, 2009 through January 3, 2010, with the exception of New Year’s Day.
“We added Friday tours in order to provide more options for our visitors – especially groups that might be traveling to the Laurel Highlands for holiday happenings at other attractions,” said Brad Heiser, visitor services manager for Fallingwater.
Regular tours will be offered from 11:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. on the days in December when Fallingwater will be open. Or, visitors may register for in-depth tours, which begin at 10 a.m.
