“Is There Art in a Broomstick?”

Join Fallingwater for a free lecture called, “Is There Art in a Broomstick?” MoMA’s Mid-century Crusade for Good Design, on May 9 at the Carnegie Museum of Art (CMOA) in Pittsburgh (Oakland) from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Hear Juliet Kinchin, a curator at New York’s Museum of Modern Art, explore the changing relationship between design and everyday life in 20th-century America. Although registration is required, this lecture is free and open to the public and presented in partnership with CMOA and Monmade.

Kinchin will speak about her exhibition, “The Value of Good Design,” now on view at MoMA in New York City.
