Their legacy inspires us to live in harmony with nature.

Fallingwater Nearly 75 years ago, the Kaufmann family commissioned one of the world’s most famous houses — Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater®. The house’s fate could have been similar to that of many other buildings designed by Frank Lloyd Wright over his seven-decade career: eventually demolished, “renovated” beyond recognition, encroached upon by other structures or left in disrepair.

Instead, Edgar Kaufmann, jr. had a vision to plan for its future, gifting it to the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy in 1963. Now, nearly five million people, including thousands of school children, have been touched and in many instances transformed by experiencing Fallingwater.

You may not own a world-famous home or have amassed a fortune. However, you too can make a difference in the work of the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy through your estate plans while still providing for your family. We will be happy to explore with you the legacy that you would like to leave and help you develop an approach that can make it a reality.
