A Legacy for Nature

Our Shared Legacy

We at the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy are dedicated to conserving exceptional natural places with ecological significance, scenic beauty and recreational value — and to infusing cities and towns across the region with nature. We are honored to conserve Fallingwater, an iconic symbol of living in harmony with nature. As one of Pennsylvania’s first conservation organizations, we have protected the resources that have improved the quality of life in our region for generations.

Now, we are seeking help to build on these past successes and to tackle the most ambitious goals we have ever attempted in our history. Over this decade, we aim to:

  • • conserve 50,000 acres of natural lands;
  • • restore and protect 1,500 miles of creeks and stream;
  • • sustain our 135 community gardens by growing endowment support;
  • • plant 20,000 street trees; and
  • • ensure Fallingwater’s future through increased preservation and education support.

We hope that you will support this work – either with an outright gift of cash, stock, or property or with a future gift made, for example, by adding WPC as a beneficiary of your will, life insurance policy or retirement account.
