Game Lands 223 is located near Garards Fort, encompassing 7,223 acres.These wetlands is a Pennsylvania Game Commission Wetlands Restoration Project working in cooperation with: Ducks Unlimited, Greene County Prison, Greene County Vo-Tech School, Izaak Walton League of America, PennDot, Pheasants Forever, and the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. It is located along Kirby Road, these wetlands have been restored and an observation platform has been built so that folks can enjoy bird watching. During the migration season, great egrets, swans, and ducks have been observed there.
