This part of Pennsylvania was once covered by massive, mile-thick sheets of ice that formed its landscape.Join us on a hike led by Conservancy scientists at Moraine State Park in Butler County, one of the 10 state parks that WPC helped to establish. You’ll learn how the continental glaciation of 20,000 years ago has influenced the region and its specialized landscape. You’ll also hear more about the creation of the state park.This outing is a moderately strenuous three-hour hike along an established trail.
