Volunteering Since: 2005

What are your volunteer activities at WPC or Fallingwater and what do they involve?

I am the Garden Steward at WPC’s community flower garden at First United Methodist Church in Shadyside.

How long have you been a volunteer with us and what motivates you to stay involved?

I have been the steward for around 12 years now. I love making our corner of the city beautiful.

How did you first become involved with WPC or Fallingwater?

Our pastor at the time was moving to a different church. I had always helped out when we planted or pulled out and so he asked me if I would do it. It is hard to say no to your pastor. But honestly, I have enjoyed it.

What do you do when you are not volunteering?

I work as a Category Analyst for Nestle Purina Petcare. I work out of my home with my two puppies (Golden Retriever Bella and Basset Hound Maggie) by my side.

What might we be surprised to know about you?

I am an avid sports fan, Steelers, Penguins and Pirates. I like to bike and play some golf.
