Thanks to our Generous Contributors

The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy gratefully recognizes the generosity of members who supported our work in 2008. With their partnership, we were able to protect Western Pennsylvania’s quality of life by conserving and restoring our natural heritage and creating opportunities for people to connect with nature. Together, we conserved 14,289 acres of land, protected 156 miles of waterways, mobilized more than 8,300 volunteers to plant 140 gardens and 1,250 trees and presented Fallingwater to 152,000 visitors. More than 10,324 generous individuals (including those who remembered WPC in their estates), corporations and foundations contributed a total of $13,644,196 in private support in 2008 to make these accomplishments possible.
