In Appreciation of Our Generous Supporters

Blue Heron

Over this decade the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy aims to accomplish the most comprehensive and large-scale goals in its 81-year history: conserving 50,000 acres of land and 1,500 stream miles; caring for Fallingwater and its increasing preservation needs while expanding its educational opportunities; and making cities and towns “greener” through endowed community gardens, street trees and other plantings.

In 2012, the Conservancy made substantial progress in raising funds to meet these challenges because of the generosity of many donors. As of Dec. 31 the Conservancy had raised $24.28 million in commitments toward its multiyear, $40 million Our Shared Legacy comprehensive campaign. That same year, WPC received support from 10,507 private donors (individuals, foundations, corporations and organizations) who contributed cash gifts totaling more than $10.64 million. Donors of $100 or more are listed in the following pages. We regret that space constraints prohibit acknowledging all members by name in this publication.

We have made every effort to ensure our donor lists are accurate and reflect gifts made from Jan. 1, 2012 through Dec. 31, 2012. However, should you find an error or omission, please contact Melissa Leiberton, donor relations coordinator, at 412-586-2336, toll-free at 1-866-564-6972 ext. 2336 or via email at mleiberton@paconserve.org.
