In Gratitude to our Generous Supporters

Because of the generosity of our 11,097 donor-members, the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy is positioned to meet both the challenges and opportunities that face Western Pennsylvania's water, land and wildlife.

We improve water quality both through our local watershed projects and through our TreeVitalize initiative that plants street trees, which capture and purify storm water in greater Pittsburgh. We provide ample opportunities to connect with nature through conservation of important lands, and by planting our 140 community gardens across the region. And, through Fallingwater, we present the beauty of living in harmony with nature to visitors from across the globe. Our generous members make all of these outcomes possible.

In 2010, private donors (members, corporations, foundations and organizations) together made gifts totaling $6,641,895. While most made their contributions with outright gifts of cash, stock or property, many also established a legacy for our region through their estates.
