A gift to the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy in memory of a friend, colleague or loved one is a meaningful way to honor someone's life while advancing the Conservancy's work in land acquisition and stewardship.

Since 1932, WPC has protected more than 280,000 acres of natural lands in Pennsylvania. Work continues to secure additional lands of ecological significance, which frequently offer recreational and scenic values as well.

Through the Land Steward Program, the WPC recruits, trains and supports volunteers, educating them about conservation issues and ethics and equipping them with the skills needed to effectively monitor and report on WPC land. To date, more than 100 trained volunteers have helped protect more than 38,000 acres of high conservation-value land in Pennsylvania.

Your financial support in the name of someone special will make a lasting impact on our environment by supporting these initiatives. For more information or to make a donation, call the development department at (412) 288-2777 or send an email to iclark@paconserve.org.
