How You Can Help

Western Pennsylvania offers plentiful opportunities for hiking, fishing, bird watching, hunting, canoeing and sightseeing — and the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy has worked to help create and sustain this high quality of life for more than 78 years. Your continued involvement will ensure that our legacy of conserving healthy forests, scenic hills and valleys, clean and life-filled waterways, diverse wildlife, beautiful community greenspaces, and Fallingwater — the embodiment of people living in harmony with nature — will be here to enjoy for generations to come. We invite you to get more involved.

Annual Fund
Annual fund gifts provide essential ongoing resources to support our daily operations and enable the Conservancy to carry out our mission throughout the year. WPC Conservation Champions provide dependable income for WPC programs by making their annual gifts through convenient monthly deductions via credit card or direct debit from a designated financial account.

Leadership Circle
Members who make annual gifts of $1,000 or more are stewarded through the Leadership Circle program. The Conservancy recognizes this significant commitment and provides “insider” access to our programs and insights into our plans throughout the year.

Evergreen Circle
Members of the Evergreen Circle have loyally supported the Conservancy for at least 15 years out of the last 20. Their loyal and continuous support over so many years has been a crucial part of our successful work. We are deeply grateful for those who support us each and every year.

Employee Matching Gift Program
Many companies and organizations will match employee contributions, greatly increasing the impact of your gift to WPC. Please contact your human resources office for further information.

Special Gifts

The Conservancy deeply appreciates gifts of appreciated stock, real property, in-kind gifts and multi-year commitments in support of our programs. Please contact the Conservancy’s development staff for further information.

Heritage Circle Gift Planning Society
As you make your estate plans, please consider including the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy in them. Bequests, charitable gift annuities, trusts, life insurance policies and other planned giving options provide long-term, significant support for the Conservancy and often also benefit the donors and their families.

Get Involved
More than 10,000 people volunteer their time and energy for land conservation, community garden and tree plantings, and at Fallingwater each year. We welcome people of all ages to get involved in maintaining Western Pennsylvania’s wonderful quality of life. Additional information can be found on our website at WaterLandLife.org.
