A Bountiful Planting Season

More than 11,000 volunteers contributed to a tremendously successful 2010 planting season for the Community Gardens and Greenspace program. Here, we show a just a few highlights from a busy season.

People of all ages enjoyed WPC’s State College community garden at College Avenue and University Drive.


TreeVitalize Pittsburgh’s “Root for Trees” rally, sponsored by Colcom Foundation, featured dancers from Point Park University.
