Help Conserve the Eastern Massasauga Rattlesnake in Pennsylvania

Two people inspect a snake while standing in the middle of a field. The front of the snake is inserted into a clear tube to inspect the snake as they take measurements for research purposes.
WPC staff used radio telemetry to study movements of eastern massasauga rattlesnakes during a two-year period.

Thank you for donating to support the conservation of the Eastern Massasauga in Pennsylvania. Habitat restoration projects and population monitoring surveys are current ongoing for this federally threatened species.

Unfortunately, only four of 19 historic populations remain in Pennsylvania.

Your donation will help us continue to conserve Pennsylvania's last remaining Massasauga populations.
