Here are some of the many ways to help Western Pennsylvania Conservancy.  For more information, please call a member of our Donor Services Team.

Membership

Your donation makes you a member of the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy. Membership support provides WPC with the critical resources necessary to carrying out its mission.

Monthly Giving

Monthly gifts via credit card or checking account make giving easier for many WPC members and provide sustainable income to support programs all year long.

Gift Matching

Many companies will match employee contributions, greatly increasing the impact of your gift at no additional cost to you.

Tribute Giving

Honor or remember someone with a donation

You can make your gift online in memory of someone special, or to commemorate a special occasion. We'll take care of the rest. We'll notify the person of your choice of your memorial donation.  You'll also receive a letter of acknowledgement for your contribution, for your tax records.

Heritage Circle

Charitable gift annuities, trusts and bequests provide meaningful support to WPC, while also benefiting the donors and their families.

Leadership Circle

Members who provide significant annual support of $1,000 or more ensure that WPC can continue to reach our conservation goals.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

As the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy is a 501(c)3 organization, all donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law. The amount of your gift that is eligible for deduction depends on the size and nature of your donation, and whether goods or services are received in exchange for your donation.

When you make a donation, you will receive a written acknowledgment of your gift. This acknowledgment will include the fair market value of any goods or services received in exchange for your gift.

You are encouraged to contact a professional advisor, as the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy does not provide tax, legal or accounting advice.

Can I receive a replacement acknowledgment for a past donation?

Yes, please contact us at members@paconserve.org and we will send a replacement acknowledgment.

How do I get my admission(s) to Fallingwater?

WPC membership entitles you to a number of discounted or free basic admissions to tour Fallingwater (depending on your membership level) during your membership year, as specified on your membership card.

Please call Fallingwater at 724-329-8501 to make your reservation, inform the representative that you’ll be using your membership admissions, and present your membership card at the gate.

Can I lend my membership card to others?

How or when do I renew my membership?

We will send you a membership renewal notice in the mail two months before your membership expires.  Your prompt response ensures that your membership benefits do not lapse. You may also renew online.

I just joined. When will I receive my first publication?

WPC members receive printed publications quarterly, including our Perspectives newsletter and our Conserve magazine. If you prefer, you can receive a tree-friendly, paperless edition by emailing us at members@paconserve.org.

I’ve renewed my membership but keep getting renewal reminders?

Your renewal gift may cross in the mail with your renewal reminder letter. Please accept our apology for the inconvenience, and contact us any time to check on your membership status.

What can I do about duplicate mailings?

Although we make every effort to avoid duplication, it does happen.  If you receive a duplicate mailing, please call or email us with the name and membership number on the address label so we can correct it as soon as possible. And if you’d like to pass along a duplicate mailing to a fellow nature-lover who may be interested in membership, we would greatly appreciate it!

How do I give a WPC membership as a gift?

A gift membership is a great way to show someone you care about that you also care about the natural world they live in.  Gift memberships are a great idea at any time of the year – holidays, graduations, birthdays or any special occasion – or even no occasion at all! You can give a gift membership here on our website.

You can also send us your name and address, along with the recipient’s name and address with your check made payable to the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy.
