Our Mission
Since 1932, the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy has been dedicated to the protection our region’s most exceptional natural places.
Our History
WPC was founded during the Great Depression to simultaneously help alleviate unemployment and save the region’s natural resources.

In addition to the leadership staff, our board of directors consists of 30 individuals from various industries committed to protecting and restoring our region.
