RADical Days: Penn Hills Entrance Autumn Garden Cleanup and Seed Saving

Help WPC put a community flower garden to rest for the season! Autumn is the perfect time to collect annual and perennial flower seeds to save for planting the following spring. Help compost annual flowers, reset garden beds and harvest flower seeds to take home! Gloves and tools will be provided.

Allegheny Regional Asset District’s RADical Days is an annual celebration that offers several days of free admission, performances, events and activities each September and October as a thank you to Allegheny County taxpayers who make RAD funding possible. RAD funding supports WPC’s community flower gardens that are located in Allegheny County. The Conservancy is participating in RADical Days 2024 with this free event.

Pre-register at 412-288-2777 by noon on Sept. 30. Those younger than 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
