2023 Invasive Species Scavenger Hunt

Can you help us find and identify invasive species across Pennsylvania? If so, consider volunteering in the 2023 Invasive Species Scavenger Hunt, Aug 1-31. Challenge yourself as a community scientist to search, identify and report findings for 10 invasive species as part of this statewide effort.

Participants must first watch a July 31 webinar recording (please click the “Register Now” button above to view the webinar), which explains this scavenger hunt volunteer event and the iMapInvasives data-reporting process. The “homework” section of this ArcGIS StoryMap provides details about the 10 invasive species to spot!

The webinar, storymap and additional details are also available on the events page of PAiMapInvasives.org. After reviewing the webinar, you can volunteer by registering for a free iMapInvasives account and submitting a public report of an invasive species in or around your local community.
