RADical Days: Batteries Not Included

Over the past three years, WPC’s Community Greening staff have made a significant effort to eliminate its two-cycle engine equipment and replace them with eco-friendly, battery-powered equipment. Meet us on the lawn at our Pittsburgh office to learn why we decided to make this change and how you can, too. The equipment presentation and demonstration will be held from 9 -11 a.m., EDT. Allegheny Regional Asset District’s RADical Days is an annual celebration that offers several days of free admission, performances, events and activities each September and October as a thank you to Allegheny County taxpayers who make RAD funding possible. RAD funding supports WPC’s community flower gardens that are located in Allegheny County. The Conservancy is participating in RADical Days 2021 with this free event.
