Land Stewardship at Lower Elk Creek Nature Reserve

Location
Lower Elk Creek Nature Reserve
Activities: Replace decking on foot bridge; general trail maintenance
Join us for general clean up at Lower Elk Creek Nature Reserve in Erie County. We’ll pick up trash and remove debris. Get to know volunteers who enjoy nature and explore this beautiful preserve.
If you enjoy hiking and getting outdoors, consider becoming a land stewardship volunteer. These volunteers help build trails, keep nature preserves clean and safe, and help sustain a variety of outdoor recreational opportunities for all! The Conservancy owns and cares for more than 14,000 acres of land that are free and open to the public to explore and enjoy.
Unless otherwise noted, we’ll meet at 9 am at the preserve and work until around 2. Workdays are typically held rain or shine. If a workday is cancelled, a message will be sent immediately to the land steward email list (the website may not be updated for a day or so). For additional information, please visit the Current Volunteer Opportunities section of our website, WaterLandLife.org, or contact Andrew Zadnik (azadnik@paconserve.org; 412-586-2318).
