RADical Days: Page Street Accessible Garden Tour
Location
Community Garden, 1323 Page Street, Pittsburgh PA 15233
The Page Street Accessible garden was completed in fall 2023 as a collaboration with the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy, Conroy Early Childhood Center and many dedicated community members who have been gardening in this space since the 1980s. The partnership raised funds to install more than 2,000 square feet of accessible, permeable pathways, native trees and hundreds of pollinator-friendly perennials, eight raised garden beds and seven accessible garden beds and 30 feet of benches and reclaimed wooden stools for all to enjoy. Please join us on a tour of this beautiful community asset!
Allegheny Regional Asset District’s RADical Days is an annual celebration that offers several days of free admission, performances, events and activities each September and October as a thank you to Allegheny County taxpayers who make RAD funding possible. RAD funding supports WPC’s community flower gardens that are located in Allegheny County. The Conservancy is participating in RADical Days 2024 with this free event.
