How can your child or student develop a love of nature or foster an eye for design? One of the best ways to nurture a child’s interest in nature and design is through hands-on learning and immersion through interesting and dynamic programs that teach, inspire and engage students at a young age.

At the Conservancy, future conservationists are learning about the natural world and wildlife through experiencing gardens and green spaces at school, participating in water quality monitoring in local streams and partaking in story times at local libraries or in nature.  At Fallingwater, future architects and designers are finding inspiration and an understanding of how architects and designers think through our Gnome House Design Challenge, Fallingwater Institute programs, school tours and more.

In this webinar, you’ll learn about some of the Conservancy’s and Fallingwater’s youth education programs and partnerships that are enriching and inspiring young learners in Western Pennsylvania and around the world. Join Conservancy Education Coordinator Danielle Forchette and Fallingwater Curator of Education Ashley Andrykovitch for an informative discussion about the philosophy, history and successes of our youth education programs and partnerships, and how we welcome learners in all communities from different walks of life.
