Unless otherwise noted, we’ll meet at 9 am at the preserve and work until around 2. Workdays are typically held rain or shine. If a workday is cancelled, a message will be sent immediately to the land steward email list (the website may not be updated for a day or so). Located in the Laurel Highlands, Bear Run Nature Reserve offers hiking trails, backcountry campsites and hunting and fishing opportunities.
Bear Run Nature Reserve provides habitat for a diversity of forest-dwelling wildlife, including black bear, fisher, bobcat and more than 53 bird species. More than 500 plant species have been found on the preserve.
